Description

Many of Shireen's paintings are inspired by all types of music, and the oil on canvas painting "Brain Damage" is no exception. After she discovered and fell in love with the music of Pink Floyd, Shireen noticed several similarities between some her art and the album cover art of the group. She felt a special connection and relatability to the music--enough to create a surreal work of art that was inspired by their Dark Side of the Moon Album.  The rainbow-painted fingers, pink Egyptian sculpture and floating crystal pyramid are a tribute to the iconic artwork of the album cover.
